Established in 1984 as ArtFrame Gallery, Caffé Gallerie opened its doors in February 2017 with new owners Charlie and Suzie Burbury at the helm.
Charlie and Suzie met in the 90’s in the Jamaican Blue Mountains where Charlie lived for 30 years, starting his journey under a tarpaulin tied between two trees and establishing his own coffee farm.
Over time, they went on to develop a super successful environmentally friendly eco-hotel and coffee plantation – Lime Tree Farm. Their knowledge of the local area, coffee and Suzie’s traditional Jamaican cooking helped secure the accolade of TripAdvisor’s number 1 speciality lodgings destination in the Blue Mountains National Park.
Now relocated to Charlie’s home town of Plymouth, Devon, they’re bringing a little bit of the Jamaican Blue Mountains along with them to establish themselves as “Plymouth’s Real Coffee Shop”.
Caffé Gallerie offers both traditional British breakfast, brunch and lunch as well as tempting Jamaican specials – handmade by Suzie of course. It goes without saying that this is served alongside great coffee and a superb smile within an ever changing art gallery setting.
